Tunnel Side Trim

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095)

• Fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136)

Removing

- Remove the seat. Refer to => [ Seat ] Seat.

- Mount the (VAS 6136) on the (VAS 6095).

- Attach the front seat to the (VAS 6136).

- Remove the right backrest cover. Refer to => [ Backrest Cover, Removing and Installing ] Backrest Cover.

- Remove the belt latch. Refer to => [ Belt Latch Anchorage Point ] Belt Latch Anchorage Point.

• Do not disconnect the electrical connector.

- Press the locking pin inward and remove the expanding clip - 1 -.





- Release the clip - 3 - - arrow A - and remove the tunnel side trim - 2 - upward and toward the front - B arrows -.

Installation

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Belt Latch Anchorage Point ] Belt Latch Anchorage Point.

- Make sure the side trim on the tunnel side engages correctly in the backrest.
