Production Control Number (PR Number), Explanations

The vehicle data plate documents which front/rear axle or tire pressure monitoring system is installed using the corresponding PR numbers.

The vehicle data label can be found in the spare wheel well as well as in the Maintenance booklet.

Front/Rear Axle






The front/rear axle PR No. is in illustration - A - and - B -

- The front axle PR number is on - A -.

- The rear axle PR number is on - B -.

For the correct shock absorber combination, refer to the PR number.

Suspension Versions






The suspension version PR No. is in illustration - arrow -

In this example the vehicle has standard suspension 1BA installed.

1BA = Standard suspension

1BE = Sport suspension

1BR = Heavy duty suspension

1BV = sport suspension (Quattro GmbH)

1BK = Air suspension

1BB = Urban suspension

1BY = Air spring suspension allroad

1BD = Sport suspension S6

2MS = DRC - Sport suspension with variable damping 1 - level (RS 6 Quattro GmbH )

2MC = DRC - Sport suspension with variable damping 3 - level (RS 6 Quattro GmbH )

Tire Pressure Monitoring System





The PR number for the tire pressure control system is in illustration - C -

In this example, the High Version 7K3 is installed in the vehicle.

7K3 = High Version

7K4 = High Version

7K7 = Low Version

7K8 = Low Version
