Fuel Filler Door Unlock Motor V155






1 Cable for emergency release

• Routing=> [ (Item 2) Cable for emergency release ]

2 Fuel filler door unlock motor (V 155)

• Removal:

- Fuel filler door removed

- Disconnect the connector for the motor behind the side trim panel.

- Remove the cable from the side trim panel inside the luggage compartment and pull it forward.

- Remove the fuel tank lid unlock motor (V 155) forward off the body flange and disconnect the electrical connector.

• Installing:

- Slide the fuel tank lid unlock motor (V 155) onto the flange and slide the emergency release into the luggage compartment.

3 Fuel filler door

• Removal:

• Must be replaced after removing => [ Replace the tank flap
unit ] Fuel Filler Door Overview

- Open the door and remove the bolt.

- Pull the bolted side of the door out of the side panel slightly.

- Completely remove the door from the side panel diagonally toward the rear.

• Installing:

- Guide cable through opening in fuel filler door cup.

- Insert fuel filler door diagonally until catches on protruding flange engage in side panel.

- Bolt the door and the door release motor together using the bolt - 4 -.

• 1.7 Nm

Fuel Filler Door Emergency Release






1 Fuel filler door unlock motor (V 155)

2 Cable for emergency release

• Insert the fuel tank lid unlock motor (V 155) with the cable over the tank opening as shown.

• Pull the cable toward the rear and into the passenger compartment and install on the vent openings in the side trim panels.

3 Connector

4 Emergency release handle

• Push the end loop onto the vent opening in the side trim panel as illustrated.
