Removing






- Remove backrest cover with backrest cushion:

• Standard seat => [ Backrest Cover with Backrest Cushion for Standard Seat ] Backrest Cover with Backrest Cushion for Standard Seat.

• Comfort reclining seat => [ Backrest Cover and Backrest Cushion, Reclining Seat ] Backrest Cover and Backrest Cushion, Reclining Seat

• Multicontour seat => [ Backrest Cover with Backrest Cushion for Multi-contour Seat ] Backrest Cover with Backrest Cushion for Multi-contour Seat.

• Individual power rear seats => [ Backrest Cover with Backrest Cushion for Individual Power Rear Seat ] Backrest Cover with Backrest Cushion for Individual Power Rear Seat.

- Pull off backrest cover as far as possible from the backrest cushion in the area of the backrest bolsters.

- Cut electrical wire - 1 - directly at the old heating elements - 2, 4 -.

• The old heating elements remain on the backrest cushion - 3 - and will be covered over by the new heating elements.

Installing

- Align the new heating elements on the seat bolster cushions.

- Remove protective films from the heating elements in succession, taking care not to damage the heating elements.

- Bond heating elements so that they align with the old heating elements and are free of wrinkles.

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
