Headlamp Housing

Removing






- Turn off the ignition and disconnect the ground cable from the battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.

- Remove bolt - 4 -.

- Loosen the bolts - 1 - and - 2 - four turns.

- Pull the headlamp housing - 5 - forward and disconnect the connector - 3 -.

- Remove the headlamp housing from the body - arrow -.

Installing






• Tightening specification, refer to => [ LED Headlamp Overview ] LED Headlamp Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Make sure the adjusting nut - 3 - on the adjusting mechanisms - 1 - and - 2 - moves easily - arrows -.

- Turn the adjusting nut all the way down but to not tighten it.

- Install the headlamp housing into the mount. Make sure the guides on the housing fit into the bracket - arrows -.






• It must be possible to move the headlamp easily and without having to force it.

- The vent - 3 - for the headlamp housing must be pushed evenly onto the mount - 2 - for the vent hose - 1 - when installing the headlamp - 4 -.






- Tighten the screws - 1 - and - 2 -.






• When tightening the bolts, the adjusting nuts on the adjusters rotate toward headlamp housing mounting point - 5 - and secure it.

• Ignore - arrow -.

- Tighten the bolt - 4 -.

- Connect the battery. Required actions, refer to=> [ Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.
