Left rear seat angle adjustment motor (V227) / right rear seat angle adjustment motor (V228)

Removing






• Follow all safety precautions when working on pyrotechnic components. Refer to => [ Restraint System Components, Safety Precautions and Testing Procedures ] Description and Operation.

• Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the electrical connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". This can be done by touching the door striker, for example.

- Remove the rear seat backrest. Refer to => [ Lower Seat Frame/Rear Seat Backrest ] Lower Seat Frame/Rear Seat Backrest.

- Disconnect and free up the electrical connector - 4 -.

- Remove spring washer - 1 - using a screwdriver and press pins - 2 - out.

- Swivel seat height adjustment motor - 3 - down, detach threaded mount - 5 - on the seat frame and remove.

Installing

• Observe all measures when installing the rear seat. Refer to => [ Lower Seat Frame/Rear Seat Backrest ] Lower Seat Frame/Rear Seat Backrest.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
