Bracket For (V50) and (N82)
Bracket For (V50) and (N82)
• The coolant circuit does not need to be opened to remove bracket - A -.
• Bracket - A - for the coolant recirculation pump (V50) and for the coolant shut-off valve (N82) - E - is not bolted directly to the body in order to reduce noise. To reduce noise, the fastening at bolts - B - and combination nut - C - is performed using rubber elements - D -. Ensure that bracket - A - and the attached components do not come in direct contact with the body or other components secured to the body.
• This figure shows the arrangement of the coolant recirculation pump and the coolant shut-off valve in a vehicle with an 8-cylinder FSI engine. Depending on the vehicle equipment, the arrangement of the coolant recirculation pump and coolant shut-off valve (or heater coolant shut-off valve) may deviate.
Removing and Installing
- Remove the coolant recirculation pump from bracket - A -, refer to => [ Coolant Recirculation Pump (V50) ] Coolant Recirculation Pump (V50).
Remove the coolant shut-off valve/heater coolant shut-off valve - F - from bracket - E -.
- Remove bolts - B - and combination nut - C - (tightening specification 8 Nm).
- Remove bracket - A -.
• This figure shows the arrangement of the heater coolant shut-off valve in a vehicle with a parking heater as optional equipment. Depending on the vehicle equipment, the arrangement of the coolant recirculation pump and coolant shut-off valve (or heater coolant shut-off valve) may deviate.
