Headlamp Beam Adjustment Motors

Removing






- Remove headlamp housings, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing.

- Remove the bolts - arrows -.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 3 -.






- Rotate the positioning motor - 2 - on the left headlamp clockwise and the one on the right headlamp counterclockwise.

- Pull the reflector - 1 - toward the rear and remove the motor.

Installing

• Tightening specification, refer to => [ HID Headlamps Overview ] HID Headlamps Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Insert the adjusting axle ball head into the reflector ball socket from above while pulling the reflector back.

- Mount the quick release on the headlamp housing.

- Engage the adjusting motors by rotating counterclockwise on the left headlamp and clockwise on the right headlamp.

- Connect the connectors to the motor.

- Close the housing cover and tighten the bolts.

- Install the headlamp housing, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing.
