Fuel Pressure Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

Fuel Pressure Sensor

Removing

- Remove engine cover.

- Pull the cover - 1 - forward and remove it upward.





- Remove the fuel pressure sensor (G247) - 2 -.





Installing

- Tighten the fuel pressure switch.

• The high pressure line connectors - arrows - must not be damaged.

• Do not bend the high pressure line to a different angle.

- Tighten the high pressure line union nut by hand.

- Make sure the high pressure line is free of tension.

• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Fuel Injectors and Fuel Rail Assembly Overview ] Fuel Injectors and Fuel Rail Assembly Overview

- Tighten the 17 mm union nut on the high pressure line with the (V.A.G 1331) and (V.A.G 1331/6).





Further installation is performed in reverse order.
