Rear Lid Remote Unlock Switch (E188)

Removing







Danger of unintended engine ignition.

Turn off the ignition and remove the ignition key from the vehicle interior for all work performed on the high voltage vehicle.

- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Remove the front door trim..

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 -.

- Release the retaining clip - 2 - and press the trim - 3 - with the rear lid remote unlock switch out of the door trim in the direction of the - arrow -.

- Carefully release retaining hooks in the direction of the - arrows - using a small screwdriver.






- Remove the rear lid remote unlock switch (E188) - 1 - from the trim - 2 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Press the trim - 2 - with the rear lid remote unlock switch into the mount until the retaining hooks engage.

- Install the front door trim..
