Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 24 number 11 - 92 dated October 12, 2011 for reasons listed below.
Affected Vehicles
Condition
This RVU has been proactively released to prevent the following condition from occurring in the vehicle:
MIL on for one or more of the below listed DTCs:
^ Small EVAP leak (P0456).
^ Lambda sensor response too slow (P0133, P0139, P0153, P0159).
^ Fuel pressure too low at cold start (P0153F).
^ Cam position during cold start (P054A, P054C).
^ Secondary Air Valve (Bank 1 and 2) stuck open (P2440, P2442).
Or the customer complaint:
^ Initial acceleration at take-off too slow.
This Required Vehicle Update (RVU) is in effect until removed.
Vehicle must meet all of the following criteria:
^ Procedure is valid only for vehicles that show the 24U6 code in the ElsaWeb Campaign/Action Information screen on the day of repair.
^ Vehicle must be within the Federal Emissions Warranty.
^ Procedure must be performed within the allotted time frame stated in this Technical Service Bulletin.
^ Procedure must be performed on applicable vehicles in dealer inventory prior to sale.

SVM Update Instructions
1. Follow all instructions in the attached TSB 2011732 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.
2. Update the instrument cluster (J285) using the SVM action code as listed in the table above if necessary.
