Securing Transmission to Engine and Transmission Holder

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Holding plate (VW 309)

• Hook and support tool (3311) with bolt (3311/1)

• Engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095)

Procedure





• Transmission secured with the workshop crane (VAS 6100). Refer to => [ Transmission, Transporting ] Transmission, Transporting.

- Install the holding plate (VW 309) on the hook and support tool (3311).

- Using the workshop crane (VAS 6100) place the transmission onto the engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095).

• Ventings for the transmission housing and final drive must be closed before turning a transmission filled with oil upward on the engine and transmission holder.
