Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Hook and support tool (3311) with bolt (3311/1)

• Workshop crane (VAS 6100)

Procedure

• Transmission removed.


Transmission components could be damaged if they are not set down correctly.

• Do not set the transmission on the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) pan.








An accident could result if the transmission is not secured correctly.

• Exchange the bolt on the hook and support tool (3311) for a new, longer bolt (3311/1).

• Only this way is the transmission fastened securely.

- Secure transmission on the hook and support tool (3311) (using the new, longer bolt (3311/1)).

- The transmission can now be lifted and transported with the workshop crane (VAS 6100).
