Selector Lever Boot, Separating from Handle

Removing





- Remove selector lever handle. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Handle ] Selector Lever Handle.

- Bind together the spring tabs - 1 - on the selector lever handle using a cable tie - 3 - as shown in the illustration.

- Slide the selector lever boot sleeve - 2 - over the retaining tabs on the spring tabs - arrow -.

- Remove the cable tie and the sleeve with the selector lever boot from the selector lever.

Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

Installation position of selector lever boot:

• The longer side of the frame for selector lever boot faces toward the driver side.

- Install selector lever handle. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Handle ] Selector Lever Handle.
