Condition
Customer may report:
^ Vehicle shudders briefly before a stop.
^ Harsh up shift at low to medium throttle.
^ Harsh downshift when coming to a stop.
^ Slight hesitation from a stop.

Service
Try to reproduce the customer complaint so that it can be clearly assigned to this TSB. If this TSB applies, follow the steps below.
1. Per SVM software chart above, check whether the vehicle requires a software update. If the transmission control unit is below the listed new version, update the transmission control unit (J217) via SVM.
2. Follow all instructions in the attached TSB 2011732 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.
3. Test drive the vehicle until the customers concern is no longer present.
4. If the customers concern is still present, complete the GFF adaptation drive procedure and evaluate the shift quality of the gearbox.
