Access/Start Authorization Switch (E415)
• If Access/Start Authorization Switch is replaced, it is not necessary to adapt immobilizer.
• Lock in Access/Start Authorization Switch is not mechanically coded.
• Therefore, when Access/Start Authorization Switch is replaced, key must not be replaced. Existing keys continue to work.
Removing
- Remove instrument cluster. Refer to => [ Instrument Cluster ] Instrument Cluster.
- Remove driver's side upper instrument panel cover.
- On USA vehicles, remove the right knee bar.
- Remove screws - arrows - and remove Access/Start Authorization Switch - item 1 - back from instrument panel.
- Disconnect electrical connectors - 1, 2, 3 -.

- Remove screws - arrows - and remove Access/Start Authorization Switch - item 1 - from retaining frame - 2 -.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
- Make sure all fasteners and electrical connectors are properly engaged.
- On USA vehicles, install the right knee bar.
- Install driver's side upper instrument panel cover.
- Install instrument cluster. Refer to => [ Instrument Cluster ] Instrument Cluster.
