Right Center Vent Motor (V111)
• Installed only in vehicles with Comfort version A/C system
• On vehicles with Basic version A/C system, doors for left and right side vents as well as doors for left and right center vents are operated by Left Side Vent Motor (V299) (left and right doors are connected to each other via the shaft respectively, both shafts are connected to a lever), refer to => [ Air Duct In Front Heating & A/C Unit ] Air Duct In Front Heating & A/C Unit.
• Right Center Vent Motor Position Sensor (G137) is installed in Right Center Vent Motor.
Removing
- Remove retaining plate - D - with control motors (V111) and (V300) => [ Retaining Plate With Control Motors (V111) and (V300) ] Retaining Plate With Control Motors (V111) and (V300).
- Mark the control motors if necessary (versions vary, refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog).
- Remove bolts - C - from Right Center Vent Motor - A -, remove motor.
Installing
Remove control motor on retaining plate.
- Install retaining plate - D - with control motors (V111) and (V300) => [ Retaining Plate With Control Motors (V111) and (V300) ] Retaining Plate With Control Motors (V111) and (V300).
• Check the lever position of the control motors before installing retaining plate, the retaining plate can only be installed correctly when it is located in the service position, refer to => [ Retaining Plate With Control Motors (V111) and (V300) ] Retaining Plate With Control Motors (V111) and (V300).
- Install the removed components again in reverse order.
- Check the DTC memory for the Climatronic control module and erase any faults displayed if necessary using the Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051 in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.
- If necessary, perform a basic setting and output diagnostic test mode on the A/C system using the Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051 in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.
