Valve Body






Valve Body

Removing






- Remove the ATF pan. Refer to => [ Oil Pan ] Service and Repair.

- Remove the oil screen. Refer to => [ Oil Screen ] Service and Repair.

- Disconnect the connector - arrow -.

- Carefully disconnect the connector - arrows -.






- Remove the bolt - arrow - from the transmission fluid temperature sensor (G93).






- Loosen the bolts - arrows - diagonally and remove the valve body.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Attach valve body without force.

- Tighten the valve body bolts.

- Install the bolt - arrow - for the transmission fluid temperature sensor.






- Attach connectors as far as stop.

Connectors must engage.

- Install the oil screen. Refer to => [ Oil Screen ] Service and Repair.

- Install the oil pan. Refer to => [ Oil Pan ] Service and Repair.

- Fill the ATF. Refer to => [ ATF, Filling ] ATF, Filling.

If the valve body was replaced:

- Perform a transmission adaptation. Refer to => [ Transmission Adaptation ] Transmission Adaptation.

Tightening Specifications






Valve Body - Tightening Specification and Sequence





Replace bolts that are tightened to the specification.

- Tighten bolts in 3 stages as follows:
