Rear Bonded Rubber Bushings

The procedure for removing and installing the bonded rubber bushings on the rear final drive is the same procedure for the right and left sides.

Removing

- Set the pneumatic/hydraulic foot pump (VAS 6179) on the smallest level.






- Pull out bonded rubber bushing.

Installing

- Place the bonded rubber bushing in its installed position on the final drive.

• The small hole and the large detents for the bonded rubber bushing - arrows - are horizontal to the final drive. The small hole faces the outside.






- Install the bonded rubber bushing all the way.
