Humidity Sensor (G355), with Headlamp Assistant

Removing






With Lane Assist

- Unclip the top cover - 1 - on the mirror base - arrows -.

- Disengage the bottom cover on the mirror base using a screwdriver and remove it.

Without Lane Assist






- Pry the top cover - 1 - from the interior rearview mirror base - arrows -.

Continuation for All Vehicles






- Remove the electrical connector from the bracket.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 2 -.

- Turn the interior rearview mirror on the base - 1 - counterclockwise - arrow - as far as the stop.

- Remove the interior mirror from the holding plate.

- Release the retaining tabs - 1 and 2 - with a screwdriver - 3 -.






- Disengage the rear cover - 4 -.

- Release the retaining tabs - arrows - and carefully fold the upper cover - 2 - up slightly.






- Disengage the retaining tab - 1 - at the front cover - 3 -.

- Remove the upper cover.

- Disengage the retaining hooks in the - direction of the arrow - and remove the front cover - 2 - downward from the guide bars - 1 - on the interior rearview mirror base.






- Release the retaining clips - 2 - - arrows - and remove the humidity sensor (G355) - item 4 - from the interior rearview mirror base - 1 -.






- Disconnect the electrical connector - 3 -.

Installing

Tightening specification, refer to => [ Headlamp Assistant, Humidity Sensor and Lane Assist Overview ] Headlamp Assistant, Humidity Sensor and Lane Assist Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Install the interior rearview mirror.
