Impact Member Mount, without Trailer Hitch

Removing

Proceed as follows:

- Remove the rear bumper cover. Refer to => [ Bumper Cover ] Bumper Cover.

- Remove the side impact bar. Refer to => [ Impact Member, without Trailer Hitch ] Impact Member, Without Trailer Hitch.

- Remove the tie-downs.

- Loosen the left and right luggage compartment side trim in the rear area.

- Remove the bolts - arrows - and the impact bar mount - 1 -.






Installing

• For the correct tightening specifications, refer to => [ Impact Member Overview ] Impact Member Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Install the left and right luggage compartment side trim.

- Install the tie-downs.

- Install the impact member. Refer to => [ Impact Member, without Trailer Hitch ] Impact Member, Without Trailer Hitch.

- Install the rear bumper cover. Refer to => [ Bumper Cover ] Bumper Cover.
