B-Pillar Trim Panel

• Removing and installing is identical for the left and right sides.

Removing






Follow all safety precautions when working on pyrotechnic components. Refer to => [ Safety Precautions ] Service Precautions.

- Remove the B-pillar trim. Refer to => [ B-Pillar Trim ] B-Pillar Trim.

- Remove side trim. Refer to => [ Side Trim ] Side Trim.

- Hold the belt webbing - 2 - to the side and remove the bolts - 3 -.

- Remove B-pillar trim - 1 - from the mount on the headliner - arrow -.

- Remove the front belt anchor. Refer to => [ Front Belt Anchor ] Front Belt Anchor.

- Thread the belt webbing with the locking tongue through the belt extraction panel and remove the B-pillar trim.

Installing

• Follow all safety precautions when working on pyrotechnic components. Refer to => [ Safety Precautions ] Service Precautions.

• Do not pinch the head curtain airbag when installing the B-pillar trim.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Thread the belt webbing with seat belt latch through the belt extraction panel.

- Install the front belt anchor. Refer to => [ Front Belt Anchor ] Front Belt Anchor.

- First insert the top of the B-pillar trim in the mount on the headliner and then tighten the bolts.
