Power Mirror Switch: Service and Repair

Mirror Adjustment Switch (E43) or Folding Mirror Adjustment Switch (E168)

Removing

- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Remove front door trim.

- Detach insulating mat from door trim.

- Disconnect electrical connector - 1 -.






- Carefully release retaining hooks - arrows - using a small screwdriver.

- Remove mirror adjustment switch - 2 - from switch mount.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• When installing, ensure symbol panel is inserted in front of mirror adjustment switch.

- Press mirror adjustment switch into switch mount until catches engage.

- Install front door trim.
