Headlamp Housing Repair Set

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

• Headlamps must be adjusted after performing measures that could influence headlamp adjustment. Refer to => [ Headlamps Checking and Adjusting Conditions ] Headlamps Checking and Adjusting Conditions.

• If headlamp mounting tabs are broken, they can be replaced by installing the repair set. By doing this, it is not necessary to replace the headlamp.

• There are different repair kits for left and right headlamps. Refer to Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).

Procedure






• Tightening specification => [ Tightening Specification, Headlamp Housing Repair Set ] Bi-Xenon HID Headlamps With Cornering Lamp Overview.

- Remove headlamp with broken mounting tabs. Refer to => [ Headlamps ] Headlamps.

- Remove remainder of broken mounting tabs on headlamp housing.

- Position repair set mounting tab - 1 or 3 - on headlamp housing and secure tab with bolts - 2 or 4 -.
