1 - Right Front Seat Temperature Sensor (G345) and Right Front Heated Seat (Z46)

• Seat heater is not installed in all vehicles (optional equipment).

• Vehicles with automatically regulated A/C system: activation of seat heater is displayed in measured value block of Climatronic Control Module (J255) , checking use Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS5051B) in "Guided Fault Finding".

• Vehicles with manually regulated A/C system: function and activation of seat heater check using Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS5051B) in "Guided Fault Finding".

• Seat heating, servicing.

• From MY 2009, as a running change, the Climatronic control module (J255) (or control modules for seat heating) is being installed, whereby the specified temperature is set to a lower characteristic line. Refer to Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS5051B) in "Guided Fault Finding" and to the Electronic Parts Catalog.

2 - Right Footwell Vent

• Removing and installing vent.

3 - Right Vent Temperature Sensor (G151)

• Not installed on vehicles with manually regulated A/C system.

4 - Evaporator Drain Hose

• Checking, removing and installing, refer to => [ Condensate Drain Hose, Checking ] Condensate Drain Hose, Checking.

5 - Sunlight Photo Sensor (G107)

• Not installed on vehicles with manually regulated A/C system.

• Removing and installing, refer to=> [ Sunlight Photo Sensor (G107) ] Service and Repair.

6 - Cover For Loudspeaker In Center Instrument Panel

7 - Defroster Vent

• For front windshield.

• Removing and installing.

8 - Light Emitting Diode for Central Locking System

• Removing and installing.

9 - A/C Unit With Evaporator and Add-On Components

• Air guide in air conditioner and in vehicle. Refer to => [ Air Guide In Air Distribution Housing ] Air Guide In Air Distribution Housing.

• Components of heating & A/C unit in passenger compartment. • Clean air conditioning system evaporator with Ultrasound A/C Cleaner (VAS 6189). Refer to=> [ Evaporator, Cleaning ] Evaporator, Cleaning.

• Heating and A/C unit, removing and installing, refer to => [ A/C Unit ] A/C Unit.

10 - Defroster Vent

• Side window/passenger side.

11 - Instrument Panel Vent, Right
