1 - Fluid Pan

2 - Bolts

• Replace

• Quantity: 5

• Tightening sequence

3 - Gasket

• Replace

4 - Bolts

• Replace

• Quantity: 10

• Direct shift gearbox (DSG) mechatronic (J743) - tightening specification and sequence

5 - Direct shift gearbox (DSG) mechatronic (J743)

• With O-rings on connector

• Replace O-rings

• Refer to => [ Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) Mechatronic (J743) ] Service and Repair

6 - Ventilation Pipe

• Replace after removal

• Pressed into transmission

7 - Bleed Cap

• Placed on bled pipe

15 - Transmission Oil Pump

• Refer to => [ Transmission Fluid Pump ] Service and Repair

• Insert with new seal

16 - Bolts

• Replace

• Quantity: 4

• Different bolts depending on version

• Transmission oil pump - tightening specification and sequence

17 - Transmission Oil Pump Cover

• Replace

• With seal

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Transmission Fluid Pump ] Service and Repair

18 - Bolt

• Replace

• Quantity: 4

• Tightening sequence

24 - Guard Plate

• Depends on version

25 - Bolts

• 32 Nm

• Quantity: 4

Oil Pan - Tightening Specification and Sequence

- Tighten the bolts - arrows - diagonally in steps to 16 Nm.





Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) Mechatronic (J743) - Tightening Specification and Sequence

• Replace bolts that are tightened to the specification.

- Tighten the bolts in four steps in the sequence shown:










Transmission Oil Pump - Tightening Specification and Sequence

• Replace bolts that are tightened to the specification.

- Tighten bolts - arrows - (different bolts depending on version):





Countersunk bolts - A -:

- Tighten countersunk bolts to 8 Nm diagonally.

Flat head bolts - B -:

- Tighten flat head bolts in 2 stages as follows:






Transmission Oil Pump Cover - A - - Tightening Specification and Sequence

• Replace the cover bolts for transmission fluid pump.

- Tighten the bolts - arrows - diagonally in steps to 8 Nm.





Transmission Input Speed Sensor (G182)/Clutch Oil Temperature Sensor (G509)
