Window Frame Trim

• Removing and installing is identical for the left and right sides.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

Removing






- Lower the door window.

- Remove the treble speaker trim. Refer to => [ Treble Speaker Trim ] Treble Speaker Trim.

- Vehicles with treble speakers: Remove the treble speaker.

- Versions with lane change assistance: remove the lane change assistance button (E530).

- Pry off the window frame trim - 1 - using the (3409) starting at the bottom, then carefully working along the entire length of the window frame seal - arrow A -.

- Remove the window frame trim downward from the window frame - arrow B - at the same time.

Installation






- Install the upper rear window frame trim - 1 - - arrow - into the window frame seal - 2 -.

Further installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
