Engine Hood Contact Switch (F266)

Removing






- Remove the hood latch. Refer to => Hood Latch.

- Raise the retaining tab - 2 - - arrow A -.

- Disengage the hood switch (F266) - 1 - from the lock - 4 - - arrow B - and remove it.

Installation

Installation is reverse order of removal, but note the following:

• The guide pins - 3 - on the Engine hood contact switch must fit correctly inside the hood lock.

- Install the hood latch. Refer to => Hood Latch.
