Fuel Filler Door Unlock Motor (V155)

Removing






- Open the right luggage compartment side trim panel.

- Open the clips - arrow - and remove the parking aid control module (J446) - 1 - from the frame.

- Move the parking aid control module to the side with the wires - 2 through 4 - still connected.

- Remove the nuts - 1 through 3 - and the screw - 5 -.






- Disengage the frame - 4 - at the threaded pins and move it as far as possible toward the luggage compartment side trim panel.

- Disengage and free up the handle for the emergency release cable

- Remove the fuel filler door insert. Refer to => [ Fuel Filler Door Insert ] Fuel Filler Door Insert.






- Remove the fuel tank lid unlock motor (V155) - 1 - in - direction of arrow - from its mount.

- Disconnect electrical harness connector - 2 -.

- Remove the fuel tank lid unlock motor with the emergency release cable.

- If the fuel tank lid unlock motor must be replaced, then remove the fuel filler door emergency release cable. Refer to => [ Fuel Filler Door Emergency Release ] Fuel Filler Door Emergency Release.

Installation

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- Install the tank flap insert. Refer to => [ Fuel Filler Door Insert ] Fuel Filler Door Insert.

- Install the frame for the control modules.
