Headlamp Housing Mount

Removing

- Remove the headlamp housing:

• Halogen Headlamps: through MY 2011, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing, from MY 2012, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing.

• HID Headlamps: through MY 2011, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing, after MY 2012, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing.

- Remove the appropriate front wheel housing liner..

- Remove the bolts - arrows -.






- Remove the headlamp housing mount - 1 -.

Installing

• Tightening specifications: through MY 2011, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing Bracket and Mount Overview, through MY 2011 ] Headlamp Housing Bracket and Mount Overview, Through MY 2011, from MY 2012, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing Bracket and Mount Overview, from MY 2012 ] Headlamp Housing Bracket and Mount Overview, From MY 2012.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Insert the headlamp housing mount and install the bolts - arrows - and tighten by hand.

- Install the headlamp housing:






• Halogen Headlamps: through MY 2011, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing, from MY 2012, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing.

• HID Headlamps: through MY 2011, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing, after MY 2012, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing.



- Loosen the bolt - 7 - for the bracket - 6 - several turns.

- Align the headlamp gap dimensions according to the body contours.

• Gap dimension = even gap dimension.

- Tighten the bolts - arrows - while aligning the flush to the outer edge of the fender.






- Check the gap dimensions again, repeat the adjustment of the gap dimensions if necessary, as described above.

- Install the wheel housing liner..

- Adjust the headlamps. Refer to => [ Halogen Headlamp, Adjusting ] Halogen Headlamp, Adjusting or => [ HID Headlamp, Adjusting ] HID Headlamp, Adjusting.
