Parking Lamp: Service and Repair

Parking Lamp Bulbs (M43)/(M44)

Removing






- Remove the headlamp. Refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing.

- Remove the cover - 1 - from the headlamp - arrow -.

- Turn the turn signal socket - 1 - counterclockwise - arrow - and remove it from the headlamp.






- Pull the socket - 1 - with the bulb out of the reflector in the - direction of the arrow -.






- Remove the parking lamp bulb from the socket.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Insert the new bulb into the socket without touching the bulb with bare hands.

- Push the socket into the reflector until it engages noticeably.

- Close the cover - 1 -. When doing this, the strap - 2 - must align with the mark - 3 - on the headlamp.






- Install the headlamp. Refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing.
