Impact Member without Trailer Hitch

Removing

- Remove the rear bumper cover. Refer to => [ Rear Bumper Cover ] Rear Bumper Cover.

- Disconnect the electrical connector on the radio frequency controlled clock receiver (J489).

• If the impact bar is replaced - 3 -, remove the radio frequency controlled clock receiver (J489).






- Remove the bolts - 1 - by counterholding the nuts - 2 -.

- Remove the impact bar - 3 -.

Installation

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Impact Member Overview ] Impact Member Overview.

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- Install the rear bumper cover. Refer to => [ Rear Bumper Cover ] Rear Bumper Cover.
