Entry Assistance Release Cable A, Adjusting

The following conditions must be met to adjust the "entry assistance" release cable:

The upholstery must be removed from the seat and backrest and they must be bolted to each other.

To adjust the entry assistance function, the backrest must be positioned at the front stop.

The entry assistance release cable B must be engaged at the backrest and on the lower section of the seat.

Checking and Correcting






- Press the entry assistance lever - 4 - in the direction of the - arrow - as far as the stop.

5 Backrest frame

- Release the tabs - 3 - and - 5 - - arrows A - with a screwdriver while pushing the lock - 2 - down - arrow B - at the same time.






- To adjust, turn the upper part - 4 - and the lower part - 1 - contrary to each other.

- Adjust the cable so it is free of play and tension.

- Make sure the cables work after adjusting them.

- If it does not release or only releases partially, check the release cable routing or repeat the adjustment.
