Backrest Heating Element, Comfort Seat

Removing






- Remove the cover with the cushion. Refer to => [ Backrest Cover with Cushion ] Backrest Cover With Cushion.

- Cover, separating from upholstery. Refer to => [ Backrest Cover, Removing from Cushion ] Backrest Cover, Removing From Cushion.

- Cut the electrical wire - 1 - off directly at the old lower backrest heating element - 2 -.

- Cut through the connecting bars and wires - arrows -.

- Carefully loosen the top and bottom of the backrest heating element - C - and - D - and remove.

• The spacer fabric must not be damaged.

• The heating elements - A - and - B - remain on the backrest bolsters and the new backrest heating element is bonded over them.

Installing

- Align the new backrest heating element on the upholstery.

• Make sure the new backrest bolster heating elements are bonded so they line up with the old ones.

• Remove the protective films in the bonding sequence for the heating element area.

• When removing the protective film, make sure the heating element is not damaged and that it is attached without wrinkles.

- Bond the heating element - 2 - in sequence - A -, - B -, - C - and - D -.






- Route the connecting wires to the individual heating surfaces in the base of the gaps - arrows -.

- Pull the electrical wire - 1 - through the slit in the upholstery.

Further installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
