Halogen Headlamps, From MY 2012

Parking Lamp Bulbs (M1)/(M3) or Daytime Running Lamp Bulbs (L174)/(L175)

Removing






- Right side: remove the air filter housing.

- Remove the housing cover - 1 - from the headlamp housing - arrow -.

- Turn socket - 4 - counterclockwise - arrow - and remove from housing.






- Release the clips - 3 - and remove the connector - 2 - from the bulb socket - 1 - with the bulb.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Insert the new bulb past the resistance of the spring clips into the housing and connect to the connector. This way the glass bulb is not touched with bare hands.

- Close the housing cover - 1 -. When doing this, the strap - 3 - must align with the mark - 2 - on the headlamp housing.






- Right side: install the air filter housing.
