Rearview Camera System Control Module (J772)

The rearview camera system control module is located behind the luggage compartment right side trim.

- Switch off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the key.

If the control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault-Finding" routine in the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

Removing

- Open right luggage compartment storage bin.

The rearview camera system control module - 3 - is wedged into the bracket - 2 -.






Remove the comfort system central control module - 1 - first, and then the bracket - 2 -.

The connectors on the comfort system central control module are not disconnected.

- Remove the screws - arrows - and nuts - 5 -.

- Remove the bracket - 2 - from the storage compartment in order to disconnect the connectors - 3 - and - 4 -.






- Unclip rearview camera system control module out of the bracket - 2 - and remove it upward.

Installing

- Perform the installation in reverse order.

- Perform calibration. Refer to => [ Rearview Camera System, Calibrating ] Testing and Inspection.
