Parking Aid Control Module (J446), Vehicles without Trailer Hitch

The parking aid control module is integrated in the vehicle electrical system control module (J519) depending on the date of manufacture from MY 2013 and cannot be replaced separately if defective. Refer to Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).

- Replace the vehicle electrical system control module. Refer to => [ Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519) ] Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519).

- If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided Functions" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

Removing






- Open the right luggage compartment side trim cover.

- Open the clip - 2 - and remove the park assist control module (J446) - 1 - from the frame.

- Disconnect electrical connectors - 3 through 5 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order.
