Humidity Sensor (G355), without Headlamp Assistant

Removing






With Lane Assist

- Unclip the top cover - 1 - on the mirror base - arrows -.

- Disengage the bottom cover on the mirror base using a screwdriver and remove it.

Without Lane Assist






- Pry the top cover - 1 - from the interior rearview mirror base - arrows -.

Continuation for All Vehicles






- Remove the electrical connector from the bracket.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 2 -.

- Turn the interior rearview mirror on the base - 1 - counterclockwise - arrow - as far as the stop.

- Remove the interior mirror from the holding plate.

- Spread the cover - 1 - apart slightly on both sides - arrows - and remove it from the interior rearview mirror base - 2 -.






- Disconnect the electrical connector - 2 -.






- Using a small screwdriver - 3 -, carefully press the humidity sensor (G355) - item 4 - off the cover - 1 - - arrow - and remove it upward.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Carefully place the humidity sensor in the side guides.

The cover cannot be installed if the humidity sensor is not inserted correctly.

- Install the interior rearview mirror.
