Entry Assistance Release Cable A, Adjusting

The following conditions must be met to adjust the entry assistance release cable:

The upholstery must be removed from the seat and backrest and they must be bolted to each other.

To adjust the entry assistance function, the backrest must be positioned at the front stop.

The entry assistance release cable B must be engaged at the backrest and on the seat pan lower frame.

Checking and Correcting






- Press the entry assistance lever - 4 - in the direction of the- arrow - as far as the stop.

- Check if the self-adjuster - 1 - is locked and if the spring in the self-adjuster responds.






- To check, press the self-adjuster - 1 - together and release it twice.

If the test is successful:

- Engage the clip - 2 - on the self-adjuster - 1 -.






If the test is not successful:

- Replace the release cable and perform the checking and adjusting procedure again.
