Headlamp Housing Mount

Removing





- Remove the headlamp. Halogen headlamps on vehicles through 10. 2008, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing, Halogen headlamps on vehicles from 11.2008, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing, HID headlamps, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing.

- Remove the appropriate front wheel housing liner.

- Remove the bolts - arrows -.

- Remove the headlamp housing mount - 1 -.

Installing

• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing Bracket and Mount Assembly Overview ] Headlamp Housing Bracket and Mount Assembly Overview.

- Insert the headlamp housing mount and install the bolts - arrows - and tighten by hand.

- Install headlamp. Halogen headlamps on vehicles through 10.2008, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing, Halogen headlamps on vehicles from 10.2008, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing, HID headlamps, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing.





- Loosen the bolt - 7 - for the bracket - 6 - several turns.

- Align the headlamp gap dimensions according to the body contours.

• Gap dimension = even gap dimension.

- Tighten the bolts - arrows - while aligning the flush to the outer edge of the fender.





- Check gap dimensions again, repeat adjustment of gap dimensions if necessary, as described above.

- Install the wheel housing liner.

- Adjust headlamps. Refer to => [ Headlamps, Checking and Adjusting Conditions ] Testing and Inspection.
