Oil Separator: Service and Repair

Oil Separator

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Engine Support Bridge (10 - 222 A)

Removing

- Support the engine. Refer to => [ Engine, Support with Engine Support Bridge ] Engine, Support With Engine Support Bridge.

- Loosen the hose clamps - arrows - and remove the air guide hose.






- Remove the left front wheel.

- Remove the noise insulation.

- Remove the left wheel housing liner.

- Remove the left engine mount bolt - 1 -.






- Remove the left engine support.

- Remove the oil separator - 1 through 9 -.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Oil Separator Tightening Sequence => [ Oil Separator, Tightening Sequence ] Oil Pan and Oil Pump Overview.
