Emergency Flasher Button

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim removal wedge (3409)

Removing





- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Pry off the cover for the - 1 - MMI screen on the corners using the (3409) - arrow -.

- Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the installation frame.

- Press the emergency flasher button (E229) - item 1 - out of the installation frame - 2 - - arrow -.





Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Press the MMI screen cover into the mounting points until the clips engage completely.
