• 1.7 Nm

4 Fuel Filler Door Unlock Motor (V 155)

• Removal:

- Fuel filler door removed. Refer to => [ Replace The Fuel Filler Door ] Service and Repair.

- Pull the Comfort system central control module (J393) into the luggage compartment and pull it forward.

- Remove the fuel filler door unlock motor forward off the body flange and disconnect the electrical connector.

• Installing:

- Slide the fuel filler door unlock motor onto the flange and slide the emergency release into the luggage compartment.

• Removal:

- Open the door and remove the bolt.

- Pull the bolted side of the door out of the side panel slightly.

- Completely remove the door from the side panel diagonally toward the rear.

• Installing:

- Guide cable through opening in fuel filler door cup.

- Insert fuel filler door diagonally until catches on protruding flange engage in side panel.

- Bolt the door and the door release motor together using the bolt - 4 -.

• With fuel filler door, removing and installing.

2 Side Panel

3 Cable For Emergency Release

• Insert the fuel filler door unlock motor (V 155) with the cable over the tank opening as shown.

• Pull the cable back into the vehicle interior and connect it with the tab on the flange - 2 - on the side panel.
