Rear Lid Motor 1 (V444)

Adapt rear lid motor 1 using Vehicle diagnostic tester whenever it is removed and installed. Use Guided Functions in Guided Fault Finding and diagnostic address 6D.






1 Rear Lid Motor 1 (V444)

• Removing

- Disconnect the connector from the motor.

- Pull rear lid motor 1 off the rear ball stud.

- Remove the bolts from the bracket - 5 - and lift rear lid motor 1 out of the vehicle.

- Pull rear lid motor 1 off the ball stud on the bracket.

• Installing

- Push rear lid motor 1 onto the ball stud on the bracket and then tighten it to the vehicle.

• 20 Nm

4 Bolt

• 21 Nm

5 Bracket

6 Plastic Clip

• Must be removed using needle nose pliers.

Removing The Plastic Clip






- Use commercially available needle-nose pliers to press plastic clip - 1 - together as shown and remove gas-filled strut - 2 - from the ball stud.
