Bracket For Control Motors (V109)/(V111)

Removal






- Remove the right center vent motor. Refer to => [ Right Center Vent Motor (V111) ] Right Center Vent Motor (V111).

- Remove the right footwell door motor. Refer to => [ Right Footwell Door Motor (V109) ] Right Footwell Door Motor (V109).

- Expose the wiring harness - 8 -.

- Unscrew the bolts - 1, 3, 6, 7 -.

- Remove the bracket - 5 -. The cam plates with the levers - 2, 4 - on the air distributor housing can detach in this process.

Installation

Installation is done in reverse order, observe the following:

• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Basic Version - Add On Parts of A/C Unit Overview ] Basic Version - Add On Parts of A/C Unit Overview.

- Check the connecting elements and actuator lever for the different doors for proper functioning and correct installation position.

- Install the wiring harness in the mounts so that it cannot come in contact with any moving parts (for example, the lever of the control motor).

- Install the right footwell door motor. Refer to => [ Right Footwell Door Motor (V109) ] Right Footwell Door Motor (V109).

- Install the right center vent motor. Refer to => [ Right Center Vent Motor (V111) ] Right Center Vent Motor (V111).

After completion of the repair work, perform the following work on the control head using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function:

- Read out the event memory and erase any displayed entries.

- Perform the basic setting.

- Perform the output diagnostic test mode.
