Bracket for Control Motors (V111)/(V213)

Removal






- Remove the indirect ventilation door control motor. Refer to=> [ Indirect Ventilation Door Motor (V213) ] Indirect Ventilation Door Motor (V213).

- Remove the right center vent motor. Refer to=> [ Right Center Vent Motor (V111) ] Right Center Vent Motor (V111).

- Unscrew the bolts - 1, 3, 4, 6 -.

- Expose the wiring harness - 5 -.

- Remove the bracket - 2 -.

Installation






Installation is done is reverse order, observe the following:

Tightening specification, refer to=> [ Comfort Version - Add On Parts of the A/C Unit Overview ] Comfort Version - Add On Parts of the A/C Unit Overview.

- Move the toothed segment - A - of the lever for the indirect ventilation door and the actuator lever - B - to the displayed position.

The wide tooth on the lever for the indirect ventilation door must engage in the cut-out on the actuator lever.

- Check the connecting elements - C, E - and the actuator lever - D - for the different doors for proper functioning and correct installation position.

- Install the wiring harness in the mounts so that it cannot come in contact with any moving parts (for example, the lever of the control motor).

- Install the right center vent motor. Refer to=> [ Right Center Vent Motor (V111) ] Right Center Vent Motor (V111).

- Install the indirect ventilation door motor. Refer to=> [ Indirect Ventilation Door Motor (V213) ] Indirect Ventilation Door Motor (V213).

After completion of the repair work, perform the following work on the control head using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function:

- Read out the event memory and erase any displayed entries.

- Perform the basic setting.

- Perform the output diagnostic test mode.
