Software issues causing sporadic failure of the power steering column vertical adjustment.
Production Solution
Revised software.
Service
Update the software in the vehicle electrical system control module, J519 (09), using the appropriate test plan in Guided Functions >> 09 - Vehicle Electrical System Control Module J519 >> 09 Power Adjust Steer Column CM J886, Update Programming (Figure 1).
