VAS 505 x, Connecting and Selecting Functions

- Turn off the ignition and connect the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051 x) to the 16-pin diagnostic connection.






• Switch on ignition

• DTC memory interrogated, errors shown corrected and DTC memory erased.

The (VAS 5051 x) is ready for use when the vehicle symbol is displayed.

- Switch on ignition.

- Start the program in Guided Functions.

- Select one after another:

• Brand

• Model

• Model year

• Version

• Engine code

- Confirm data entered.

Wait until (VAS 5051 x) has checked all control modules in vehicle.

- Press the Go to button and select the "Function/Component Selection" function.

- Select "suspension" on the display.

- Select "brake system" on the display.

- Select the program on the display.
