Fastener Tightening Specifications






ATF Oil Pan - Tightening Specification and Sequence

• Replaced the bolts for the ATF pan.

- Tighten the bolts in three steps in the sequence shown.











Tightening Specification and Sequence for Mechatronic without a Hydraulic Pulse Memory






- Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm in the following sequence: - 1 to 19 -.

• If the transmission has a pulse memory, then the bolt - 17 - is installed at the same time the pulse memory is installed. Refer to => [ Tightening Specification and Sequence for Mechatronic with a Hydraulic Pulse Memory ] Description and Operation.

- Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm in the following sequence - 1 through 17 -.






- Install the hydraulic pulse memory - A -. Refer to => [ Hydraulic Pulse Memory with Accumulator Solenoid (N485) ] Service and Repair.

- Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm in the following sequence: - 18 to 21 -.

• The bolts - 18, 19 and 20 - secure the hydraulic pulse memory.
