Instrument Cluster Trim

Be extremely careful when removing and installing because it is easy to damage the instrument cluster trim.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Special hook (3370)

Wedges (T10383)

Removing






- Remove the analog clock (Y).

- Move the steering wheel as far down as possible.

- Carefully unclip gap cover - 1 - from the upper steering column switch module trim - 2 - using a small flat-head screwdriver - arrows -.

- Insert the special hook (3370) into the opening for the analog clock - 1 - in the instrument cluster and unclip both attaching points on the sides - arrows -.






- Insert wedge (T10383) at the bottom of the instrument cluster trim and unclip all mounting points in succession.






The trim can only be unclipped from the instrument panel by exerting a relatively high amount of force.

In the area above the instrument cluster, carefully unclip the trim panel by hand.

- Disconnect the harness connectors and remove the instrument cluster trim.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
