Instrument Cluster Trim
• Be extremely careful when removing and installing because it is easy to damage the instrument cluster trim.
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
• Special hook (3370)
• Wedges (T10383)
Removing
- Remove the analog clock (Y).
- Move the steering wheel as far down as possible.
- Carefully unclip gap cover - 1 - from the upper steering column switch module trim - 2 - using a small flat-head screwdriver - arrows -.
- Insert the special hook (3370) into the opening for the analog clock - 1 - in the instrument cluster and unclip both attaching points on the sides - arrows -.
- Insert wedge (T10383) at the bottom of the instrument cluster trim and unclip all mounting points in succession.
• The trim can only be unclipped from the instrument panel by exerting a relatively high amount of force.
• In the area above the instrument cluster, carefully unclip the trim panel by hand.
- Disconnect the harness connectors and remove the instrument cluster trim.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
